Happy WIAW, which has come so quickly this week. Way too quickly given I’m having a week off and my body has already adapted to sleeping in and staying up late. It feels so odd to actually wake up refreshed – and so good!
I will show you all the exciting things I’ve been up to in another post because this one is all about the food…
… and my failure to get any extra veggies in during Love Your Veggies Month.
But enough about that because the wonderful Jenn deserves some huge congratulations as she’s expecting a little one!
These are my eats from Saturday, when I was working in the office. Weirdly, almost every meal seemed to be accompanied with a hot drink and in a bowl, not quite sure why this was!
Breakfast: Total 0% Blueberry split pot with a 200g tub of strawberries with a Harmonise Pukka tea, followed by a Licorice & Cinnamon Pukka tea
Snack: Pink Lady apple with cinnamon, cashew cutter and cacao nibs and Pukka Licorice & Cinnamon tea
Lunch: Tomato soup, black coffee and biscotti from Caffe Nero
Dinner: Spinach, avocado, tomato, cucumber, balsamic and olive oil dressing, cod and sweet chilli sauce
Dessert: Raw chocolate covered mulberries, sultana halva, licorice and cinnamon tea
Film treats: Another herbal tea and a dark chocolate, plus chocolate truffles (times two!)
Hope everyone is having a fabulous Wednesday! Can’t wait to see what you’ve all been scoffing

I’m a big tea fan too. I have a massive collection and love picking up new flavours. Happy WIAW!
They are so good and can perk up a rubbish day perfectly, especially in this cold weather!
Breakfast and snack look delicious! And YUM to the chocolate!
Haha thanks, it was very yum (if a little too indulgent to go back for seconds
)
I love tea hot tea especially on cold rainy days. I have never tried licorice tea.
You should give it a go, I didn’t think I would like it but it is really good!
Ha ha, a lot of my snacks are accompanied my a hot drink too, but they usually escape the camera! Dipping apples into cashew butter and cacao nibs sounds goooood!
Nut butter + cacao nibs + apples = my favourite combination!
so what is the difference between chocolate and raw chocolate? I kind of want to give raw chocolate a try if I can find it
You should give it a go Alex! I think it is a lot less processed, meaning you get all the benefits of the cacao. Worth a google though
That tomato soup is making me so hungry! It has been forever since I have had any, but it looks super tasty. Soup is definitely a major comfort food of mine
.
Any hot liquid at this time of well always does well for me!
I love Pukka teas, but I’ve also not tried the licorice one, might have to pick some up!
You should, it is crazy good!
I usually have hot tea too- the best way to warm up at this time of year!
So true, nothing like a good brew to warm you up!
Everything looks yummy!
Thanks, it was!
Yum yum yum, love the look of those chocs! I almost bought some cod today, wish I had now as your salad sounds tasty!
Cod is so good but I can only afford to buy it frozen. It is remarkably good in salad though!
I love licorice! What brand of tea do you get?
It is so tasty, right? Pukka teas, they’re great!
That pukka tea is insanely good. Love licorice teas!
Thanks Lauren, I need to try more!
Tea lover too!! I have never tried Pukka tea though I will add it to my list
Your breakfast and snack look so good.
Pukka teas are great! You can usually find free samples in health food shops.
Happy WIAW! Your tomato soup is making me hungry. I love Pink Ladies too. :-0
Thanks! They are the best, and so huge
I am obsessed with cacao nibs lately! I eat them on everything. Like the midnight snack bowl I just had.
I love them too – a midnight snack bowl with cacao sounds perfect
Wow I definitely need to try the licorice and cinammon tea! Looks like a good day of eats and snacks!
You should def try the tea, it is delicious!
Your apple snack is gorgeous! Loving the sound of that nut butter.
Thanks Sunnie, it was great!
You’ve got me obsessed with sliced apples with nut butter, and after seeing that photo I might have to try it with some cinnamon added- yum! Your eats are always so well-presented
Thanks
they don’t look so pretty after I’ve dug in haha. Cinnamon is a great addition!
I want that salad NOW!! Your food looks delicious and nutritious. (not sure about your weird flavoured tea however!)
Thanks, its pretty much my evening meal every day – I’m obsessed! The tea flavours do sound odd but they’re delicious, honest!
yummy eats, those chocolates look delicious!
Thanks – they were!
